The number one reason being the fact that people can connect to each other and correct any issues within there business without getting on a plain for hours at a time. Businesses use interactive web conferencing to speak to each other in audio or video with very little cost to them. This can be a very inexpensive way for business to conduct meeting and solve problems within minutes.

Put frankly a Web Conference is just the transmission of Audio and Video between two or more parties conducted over an Internet connection. It is similar but not to be confused with the a closed circuit television connection as this is not sent over the Internet. And because of this the transmission of both audio and video is secure and private. Usually the video transmission is saved for temporary use on a private server on the web conference company website, whomever that may be. most companies give a complete guarantee for meeting privacy.

You are probably still confused about the whole thing and asking yourself, where do I start? This is a somewhat accurate general description, but web conferencing is a bit more expansive than that. This is why those that think it would be a good idea to simply use an instant messenger to handle such conferences are not going about it the right way. This is because instant messengers are prone to crashes and freezes and there is no IT team that can be contacted to fix the problems. Also, using an instant messenger for a high level business meeting will not exactly create a great impression. That is why it is much more advisable to stick with a professional web conferencing service.

A professional service will handle the complete setup and breakdown of a web conference project. It will also provide the much needed IT support that will be required in the case of any technical difficulties. (Some web conference services offer a second video channel that can be switched to in case of a problem) This is certainly more reliable than an instant messaging web cam chat. Additionally, the audio-video quality of a web conferencing system will be exponentially better than non-professional services which is another reason why it is advisable to use one. So, if you want to impress people with the operations of your business, stick with professional web conferencing.
